In a bid to create an up to date, and holistic understanding of the ‘State of the Sector’ we are conducting an online survey aimed at community groups and organisations currently involved in low carbon activities and initiatives, from renewable energy generation to carbon reduction.
The findings from this survey, and subsequent report, will be crucial in influencing government policy over the next 12 months and will help to raise awareness of the importance of community energy. The report will also feed into the ongoing work of Community Energy England and Community Energy Wales, supporting and aiding communities to develop their own low carbon projects.
As a member of Community Energy Wales, we would be extremely grateful if you, or someone within your organisation, could help by taking part in our survey.
The link below will take you to a short survey, which will take around 20 minutes to complete.
The survey looks to understand key details about your organisation, as well as details about specific activities conducted by your group, including:
- Your organisations type, size and activities;
- Basic details about your organisation’s primary and secondary business or trading activities;
- Financial details relating to your organisation and its activities;
- Understanding of the outcomes from your group’s activities.
All information from the surveys will be considered confidential, subject to your response to the privacy questions at the end of the survey. The survey may be submitted at any point and edited at a later date, instructions to do this may be found at the beginning of the survey.
Should you be interested in taking part in a greater capacity, we are looking to detail a select number of case studies of community energy organisations. Please reply to this email if you would be interested in participating.
The survey is being conducted in partnership with Scene Connect, an Edinburgh based community renewables consultancy.
