A series of 3 presentation & tours of our operational on-farm Anaerobic Digester plant: 9th September, 10.30am-12.00pm; 1.30-3.00pm; 5.30-7.00pm
This event as part of the nationwide Community Energy Fortnight is also a launch-pad for Lower Park Farm Co-operative to demonstrate how the farm waste and slurry from 650 dairy cattle is processed to produce electricity, heat and fertiliser as a closed loop nutrient cycle, that generates energy 24/7.
Come to our open day and you can:
- Find out how the AD process works, capturing greenhouse gases and converting it to electricity and heat.
- Speak with Co-operative members and find out about the benefits of becoming a member.
- See how the electricity and heat produced is utilised as a mini district heating system serving the farmhouse, shops and offices on site.
The Events are free for anyone to attend, pre registration via Eventbrite using links here, or contact us on 01829 270604
Community Energy Wales is pleased to support and contribute to this fantastic event being run by one of our new members, pioneering co-operatively owned Anaerobic Digestion.
